GIS Dashboards for an Operations Monitoring Center

Mapping tools, enterprise GIS and executive dashboard technologies and practices are combining in an exciting way to create feature-rich, yet intuitive interfaces for the presentation of business intelligence.  Here is a really good article on one company’s (Thetus Corporation) approach: Geospatial Knowledge Modeling - Connecting Discoveries, Locations and Predictive Models.

Note the “newer” bells and whistles such as the corresponding pictures available for each asset being monitored.
