Building an Executive Dashboard in Excel 2007 with Conditional Formatting

Latest News in Excel Dashboards: New functionality for Excel based Enterprise Dashboards.

One of the truly exciting improvements in Excel 2007 for us avid enterprise dashboard project team members is the extent of the conditional formatting of the cells. Depending on logic related to the value of the contents of the cell, you can assign colors (think heat map visualizations) or icons (think red/green visual KPI indicators).

Here are a couple of excel 2007 demo videos that give a glimpse of the new features that you will definitely be using when building an executive dashboard.
