What Will the Dashboard of the Future Look Like?
Today I posted a screenshot of a dashboard from the future, from the year 2035 according to its proud conceptualizers at the General Electric company. I actually posted the dashboard and provided my opinion of it over at the old url of the Dashboard Spy where I started off this collection of executive dashboards: http://dashboardspy.wordpress.com. Click on that link to read the full post, but here is a look at the dashboard. Of course, this makes us think of the famous Tom Cruise Minority Report Dashboard, doesn’t it?

Well, did you know of these similar concept dashboards?
Dixon in the UK had an advertisement with this futuristic touchscreen dashboard:

And did you know that we are not too far away from this as a real device. Who do you think is out with something similar? You are correct if you said Microsoft Research. Take a look at this image. There is a video that demonstrates the technology called touchlight here.

And remember to visit the old dashboard spy executive dashboards blog to read the full story!
